Special Crime Prevention Award for Peter
Managing Director Peter Oakley was presented with a special award from the Reading Crime Prevention Panel.
The award represents continuous and valuable support in the reduction of crime and was handed to Peter by the Commander of Reading & Wokingham Police, Chief Superintendent Dave Murray.
Although Peter works closely as part of the Crime Prevention Panel this award came as a complete suprise, and is a great reflection of the many years active support he has made to the success of the group.

Access Security Shuttering Foils Ram Raid
Another potential Burglary was thwarted in the early hours of the morning due to security shuttering supplied and fitted by ourselves.
A determined attack on the commercial premises in Eaton Berkshire ended up with a Vauxhall Astra being used to ram into the shop front in an unsuccessful attempt to gain access to the stock. This was followed by an axe attack on the security grills fitted to the main shop door. Again unsuccessful.
The protection was fitted after a previous burglary at the premises.
Home Office research indicates that once a subject of a successful burglary there is an increased chance of becoming a repeat victim if no action is taken to rectify any weakness exploited in the original attack, particularly in the immediate months following the first offence.
If you have premises that may be vulnerable to a similar attack why not consider asking one of our staff to visit and discuss a cost effective solution to give you long term peace of mind for your business.
